Post Decree Issues

Post-decree motions are filed when a couple is disagreeing about issues after the judge or magistrate made a final divorce or dissolution decree. This typically occurs when one of the parties failed to follow the court's orders.  A party may file a motion request the court enforce the original order and punish the offending party in a contempt action.
